The Hanahan High School Hawks visited the Manning Monarchs Tuesday night.

This was a Region 7-3A battle between two teams looking to bounce back after losing their last games.

Manning’s Jeh Hilton and Justin Daniels each scored a team-high 14 points. At the half the Monarchs were up 31-25 with all the momentum. Once the third quarter got underway, it was much of the same for the Monarchs. However, in the fourth, the Hawks made a run outscoring Manning 19-12.

It would be a little to late for Hanahan and they would lose 63-60. With this win, Manning snaps a two game losing streak and travels to Bishop England High School tomorrow night. The Battling Bishops are 19-0 on the season and in first place in the region.
