An 18-year-old man died early Thursday morning after two men attempted to rob him and his 29-year-old uncle, according to the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office. Johnte Shaheed Holliday of 6509 Furse Road in Summerton was pronounced dead at Clarendon Memorial Hospital about 2:56 a.m. Thursday.
