Star-studded play comes to Manning

Posted

A new play will be coming to Manning at the Weldon Auditorium November 12 at 7PM. Sutton Glory Ministries Productions presents, A Love Story,  a play  about love, choices, relationships, and family. A woman is in love with the wrong man, and her family and friends are trying to make her see he is not the right person for her. Will she come to realize that her real love has been there the whole time?

The director and producer of the play, Jacqueline Suttonball, has cast three stars from some of Tyler Perry’s various productions. Maurice Lauchner from Tyler Perry’s Madea Gets a Job, and Jeffery Lewis and David Stewart, Jr. from Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Christmas, will be starring in the show. Suttonball met Lewis through her husband, and he hosted one of her previous shows. Then she was introduced to Lauchner and Stewart, and they joined the cast for the upcoming show along with Lewis.

The previous show that was mentioned, Christmas with my Kinfolks, was a comedy that was also directed and produced by Suttonball. The show was performed at Patriot Hall Auditorium in Sumter, South Carolina. Hopefully, A Love Story will be a success in Manning, and Sutton Glory Ministries Productions will bring more entertaining plays and talent to Manning.

Suttonball said, “We want to bring good, clean, family-friendly entertainment to the area.”

She wants everyone to know her plays are suitable for all audiences and ages.
