Soul Saturday Experience will bring live music, food and community together from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 8, at MelBrooks, 13183 Plowden Mill Road in Alcolu. The event, featuring Harmonic Noize, is designed to provide a safe, family-friendly gathering while supporting a local small business and raising funds for a transitional and affordable housing initiative. Organizers hope the event becomes the first of many opportunities for residents of all ages to gather, enjoy live entertainment and invest back into the community.
