Residents in the Pinewood, Paxville, Rimini and surrounding western Clarendon County communities may hear increased noise through June 18 as Shaw Air Force Base conducts live-fire training at the Poinsett Electronic Combat Range near Poinsett State Park.
According to Shaw Air Force Base, training exercises will take place during both daytime and nighttime hours June 16-18. Community members may experience increased noise originating from the range during that period.
