On Saturday, September 24, 2022, the second annual Monarch Strong competition and festival event will take place in the JC Britton Park at 3057 Raccoon Road in Manning, SC. There will be trophies for the first place winners in each of the biking, running, and walking categories. The registration fee for those who wish to compete is $20.00. The competition begins at 8AM, and the rest of the festivities start at 12PM and last until 3PM. There is no entry fee for the fesitval. There will be food, music, vendors, a petting zoo, a bounce house, games, and a zumba class available. Proceeds from the event will support the needs of students from what used to be he Clarendon County School District 2.
