The South Carolina State Fair will offer discounted admission tickets and ride vouchers for 250 minutes Tuesday, Aug. 25, during its Rooted in Fun Flash Sale.
From 10 a.m. to 2:10 p.m., fairgoers may purchase a package of five admission tickets for $45, making them $9 each. The price includes a $1 Etix fee for each ticket and represents one of the lowest admission prices offered this season.
Customers may also add unlimited ride vouchers for $33 each, including a $1 Etix fee.
The online-only offer is limited to one order per customer. Tickets and ride vouchers will be available at scstatefair.org/flashsale.
“The Rooted in Fun Flash Sale gives South Carolina State Fair fans a special opportunity to plan ahead and save while joining us in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary,” fair General Manager Nancy Smith said. “For 250 minutes only, fairgoers can purchase tickets at some of the best prices of the season and start counting down to fair fun.”
The 2026 South Carolina State Fair will be held Oct. 15-25 in Columbia. The annual event will feature entertainment, attractions, agricultural displays, local competitions and other fair traditions.
Organized in 1869, the South Carolina State Fair is a self-supporting nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the state’s agricultural heritage while supporting education. The organization has awarded nearly $6.5 million in scholarships since 1997.
