The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Tyrus Darby, Jr. of Summerton, and Mrs. Eva Margit Morris and the late Dr. Wyman Lee Morris of Manning. She Miss Darby is a graduate of Manning High School and received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Charleston Southern University in 2019. She is currently employed with Clarendon School District Two as a fifth grade teacher.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Eugene Cook of Danbury, Wisconsin and the late Mr. and Mr. Joe Buntyn Russell of Hazel Park, Michigan. Mr. Russell is a graduate of Goose Creek High School and is currently employed by Sparrow and Kennedy John Deere in Manning.
The couple has planned a wedding on Saturday April 18, 2020 at St Matthias' Church in Summerton, South Carolina.
