Clarendon County, SC — State Representative Fawn Pedalino (R - House Dist. 64, Clarendon & Sumter Counties) has released a video message welcoming California Governor Gavin Newsom to Clarendon County while highlighting South Carolina’s strong economic performance.
In the video, Pedalino contrasts South Carolina’s nation-leading job growth, 4.5% GDP increase, and more than $9.1 billion in 2025 capital investments with ongoing economic challenges in California.
She also pointed to major local investments in Clarendon County, including Homanit’s $250 million project creating 300 jobs, expansions by 84 Lumber and Latitude Corp, and additional business relocations into the area.
“South Carolina is growing because we focus on opportunity, responsible leadership, and supporting our communities,” Pedalino said. “We’re proud of the momentum we’ve built here in Clarendon and across the Palmetto State.”
