Principal Allen Kirby appointed Chair of SCASA Innovative Ideas Institute and Executive Committee Member

Clarendon County School District is proud to announce that Principal Allen Kirby will assume the role of chair for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In this capacity, he will lead the effort to host the SCASA Innovative Ideas Institute, scheduled for June 2025. Mr. Kirby has served as the chair-elect this year of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) Innovative Ideas Institute. Additionally, Mr. Kirby was nominated to serve on the executive committee this past year for SCASA and will continue his service in this esteemed role for the upcoming year.

SCASA, the preeminent professional organization for public education leaders in South Carolina, boasts a membership of more than 5,200 educators across the state. Its members include assistant principals, principals, district leaders, district superintendents, retired school leaders, and college of education deans.

Mr. Kirby’s dedication to education and his innovative approach to leadership have been instrumental in his selection for these prestigious roles. As chair of the Innovative Ideas Institute, he will spearhead initiatives to foster creativity and implement progressive educational strategies within South Carolina’s schools.
