Tuesday, Jan. 17 saw changes made to the Clarendon County Planning Commission. During the regularly scheduled meeting, Chairman Louis Griffith stated that he was ready to step down and pass the position on.
There was a vote held, and Commission members voted in Larry Johnson as chair and Lannes Prothro as vice chair.
Formerly the representative of District 2 on the Planning Commission board, Johnson will begin his new position as chair in February of 2023. Prothro will begin his position as vice chair alongside Johnson.
