Monarchs receive heartfelt send-off to Lower State Championship

Friends, family, and fans gathered at Manning High School to send the Monarchs football team off in style as they headed to the 2A Lower State Championship game tonight. Among the supporters were Clarendon Elite players holding homemade signs and family members proudly cheering on the team.

The atmosphere was electric as chants of "Black and gold" and "Number 1" filled the air, rallying the boys as they boarded the bus. The Monarchs face the Barnwell Warhorses with a state championship berth on the line, riding high after their thrilling 34-21 victory over the Philip Simmons Iron Horses in the third round of playoffs.
