Mary Rosalee Timmons DuBose, 80, wife of Frank Melton DuBose, died Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at her home.
Born July 4, 1939, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Alva Timmons and the late Zula Barkley Timmons. She was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of Manning; a son, Dwayne DuBose (Gina); a daughter, Wanda Barkley (Gene), both of Manning; three brothers, Al Timmons of Alabama, John Timmons and Jimmy Timmons, both of Sumter; a sister, Gail Harris of Sumter; seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Timmons and Sheldon Timmons; and a sister, Inez Timmons Geddings.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Arthur Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher “Duke” Brunson, Bobby Kolb, Gene Barkley, M.C. DuBose, John Murray DuBose, Ron DuBose and Adam Barkley.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church and other times at the home, 1086 Dallas Drive, Manning.
