Manning-Santee Post 68 tops P15 Seniors 2025, 6-3

Manning-Santee Post 68 came out strong and never looked back in a 6-3 victory over P15 Seniors 2025 on Wednesday, June 18.

Layton Morris set the tone early, blasting a two-run homer to right field in the first inning. The team added two more runs in the third after a lineout by Hunter Mixon. Manning-Santee padded its lead with additional runs in the fifth and sixth.

Bryce Blackburn earned the win on the mound, pitching 4 1/3 innings. He allowed three hits and two runs while striking out four and walking one. Mitry Kirshy also appeared in relief for Post 68 Sr.

Carson Todd took the loss for P15 Seniors 2025, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits across four innings. He struck out six and walked two.

Offensively, Morris and Blayne Edwards led Manning-Santee with two hits apiece. Morris drove in two runs and finished the game 2-for-2.

Joshua Niswonger paced the P15 Seniors with two RBIs, while Brenston Rembert, Gavin Rivers, Cory Bailey, and Larry Johnson each recorded a hit. DJ Clark displayed patience at the plate, drawing four of the team’s six total walks. Bailey also stole two bases as the team swiped six overall.

P15 Seniors 2025 played a clean defensive game with no errors. Rivers led the team in fielding with 10 total chances.
