The Manning Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen late Monday night.
Miriah Grant was reported missing from a residence on Branchview Drive around 10:30 p.m. on June 2, according to a police incident report. Authorities said she was discovered missing the following morning after efforts to locate her inside the home and throughout the surrounding neighborhood were unsuccessful.
Grant is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet tall, with red hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and pink shorts.
Officers searched the area and reviewed nearby surveillance footage but found no indication of her direction of travel. As of Tuesday afternoon, Grant had not returned, and her information has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
