Manning man found with fatal gunshot wounds, CCSO investigating

The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Manning man found in a vehicle late Friday night with multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Arlen Road area around 11:56 p.m. on January 19. They discovered the car parked on a private roadway with its engine running and headlights on. Several bullet holes were visible in the driver’s side front door window.

Inside the vehicle, deputies found Ny’Jshore Jareek Green, 24, of Manning, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Clarendon Fire Rescue determined Green was deceased at the scene.

Investigators with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office, alongside South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Crime Scene Unit, are processing evidence and pursuing leads in the ongoing investigation.
