Manning High School Marching Band earns Grand Champion title at Clash of the Titans

The Manning High School Golden Pride Marching Band made an impressive mark at the Clash of the Titans Band Competition, held at Hopewell High School in Huntersville, N.C. The band, performing in Class 3A, earned multiple top honors, culminating in the prestigious Grand Champion title, awarded to the group with the highest score among 18 competing bands.

The Golden Pride’s accomplishments include:

-1st Place in Class 3A

-1st Place General Effects

-1st Place Drum Majors

-2nd Place in Music

-2nd Place in Marching

-2nd Place Color Guard

-3rd Place in Dance

-3rd Place in Percussion

This outstanding achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Dr. Jordan Jefferson, the band’s director, and his team, including Ms. Brandi Scott, Mr. Wayne Thompson, Mr. Robert Roberson, and the 78 band students who gave their all. The band was supported by their dedicated parents and a team of band techs and coordinators, all contributing to the band’s success this season.

“WE ARE THE PRIDE OF I-95!” the Golden Pride declared as they left their mark “In the Stone” with this remarkable season. The band’s victory represents a triumph of talent, teamwork, and Monarch Pride.
