Two standout employees at Farmers Home Furniture in Manning have been recognized for excellence in leadership and sales, bringing regional and corporate accolades home to Clarendon County.
Store Manager Shirley Ragin was recently inducted into the company’s prestigious President’s Club for the 2024–2025 fiscal year. The honor was awarded during the annual Store Manager Awards Banquet held in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and was presented by Farmers Home Furniture President Gabe Selman.
Ragin credited her success to the support of her coworkers, loyal customers, and the wider Manning community. “This wouldn’t be possible without all of you,” she said in a post shared by the store. “Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment.”
Meanwhile, veteran employee April Connelly was named Regional Sales Consultant of the Month for May 2025, marking the fourth time she has earned the title in her 13-year career with the company. Connelly also received Sales Consultant of the Month honors in April.
Beyond her sales achievements, Connelly is known for her care and attention to the store’s appearance, frequently planting flowers at the front entrance to welcome customers with a personal touch.
The Manning location encouraged residents to stop by and congratulate both women, praising their contributions to the store’s continued success.
