Charles and Shera Sweat of Manning rang in the new year with a joyful addition to their family. The couple welcomed their baby boy, Chavez, at 4:25 p.m. on New Year’s Day at McLeod Health Clarendon.
Chavez weighed 7 pounds, 13.6 ounces and measured 20 inches long, becoming the first baby delivered at the hospital in 2025.
The Sweats expressed their excitement and gratitude as they began the new year with this special milestone. Best wishes go out to the growing family as they celebrate this precious new chapter.
