At a home game in Manning on Feb. 19, LMA's varsity lacrosse team took a loss against South Effingham from GA.
The Swampcats fell behind early at home in the first quarter 4-0, rallied to score 3 goals in the second half, but South Effingham’s more senior and experienced team pulled away in the 4th Quarter. Jordan Ives, Ried Moore and Camdyn Strickler each had 1 goal. The defense was led by Nik Ambrossio and Mason Hodge and Ethan Hyde had 15 saves in goal for the Swampcats.
The final score was LMA - 3, SOuth Effingham - 11.
