LMA JV Baseball team defeats Hartsville, 7-3

Hartsville Foxes JV watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 7-3 loss to Laurence Manning on Thursday. LMA scored on a pair of hits in the first inning, singles by Clayton Baker and Joe Wilson in the first inning, and a groundout by Tyler June in the second inning. Cameron Baker was on the mound for LMA. The righty lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out three. Andrew Askins led things off on the hill for Hartsville Red Foxes JV. The righty allowed six hits and six runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Ace Gibson and Dewsey Meadows entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one inning. LMA racked up 11 hits in the game. June, Baker, Bowen, and Reynolds each had multiple hits for Lawrence Manning. June went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead LMA. LMA will play at Florence Christian on Friday March 26 at 4pm.
