Headmaster Mr. Tripp Boykin and the Board of Directors of Laurence Manning Academy are pleased to announce Mr. Will Furse as the new Athletic Director and Head Varsity Football Coach of the Swampcats.
Mr. Furse is a 2005 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy. His family has a rich history as loyal educators, students, graduates, and supporters of LMA.
After graduating from LMA in 2005, Mr. Furse attended Clemson University where he also served as a student assistant for defense with the Tigers football program under Coach Dabo Swinney.
He has also been successful as a coach at CE Murray (2013-2018) and at Laurence Manning (2011-2014, 2019 to present).
Mr. Furse and his wife, Susan Hayne Furse, are excited for this new opportunity at LMA.
Although Mr. Furse has already begun planning and preparing, he will officially take over his duties in early May.
