In light of a recent negative post on Facebook, please use this testimonial:
When my husband & I volunteered at A Second Chance Animal Shelter, we helped with spay/neuter clinics. Drs. Barron & Phillips provided that service at the shelter for a while, but then decided to provide the service at their office on Felton Street in Summerton. We found them to be professional and caring to the animals belonging to the shelter.
We were so confident in their care that we chose them to continue care for our dog, Dino, who we adopted from the shelter. Lake Marion Animal Hospital provided heartworm treatment to our boy, who had high heartworm count. Care, instructions, and follow-up were awesome. They even called a couple of times to check on Dino during his convalescence.
We have trusted this provider with our Dino’s care for 4 years; and will not hesitate to continue. They have also provided excellent care to my brother’s cats.

This email is not a complaint as [a person on social media] wanted people to respond to you with.
My family has used Lake Marion AH since they have been open in Summerton.
We have had nothing but a great experience with everyone from the front desk, the techs and doctors. They have all been professional and kind to our fur babies, taking extra time to ensure all and us is well.
I’m sorry [this person] lost her baby, however, that is a chance that we all take when we as humans or animals go under anesthesia.
No one is promised tomorrow.
