This week, we’re proud to unveil Clarendon: a 72-page county guide created to reflect the heart of our home. You’ll find it on shelves throughout the county and right here in our office, and we’re thrilled to announce the e-edition is now live at manninglive.com.

Built around the theme A Day in the Life, this guide is designed to immerse you in the sights, sounds, and soul of Clarendon County. From sunrises over Lake Marion to the clatter of a busy lunch crowd at a Main Street diner, from a child’s first library card to a late-night shift at the hospital—this is a place where everyday moments tell an extraordinary story. You’ll smell fresh biscuits from the corner café, hear the distant echo of marching band practice, and pass neighbors who still wave from their front porches.

Clarendon is filled with faces and features that highlight the spirit of service, grit, hospitality, and heritage that make this place unlike anywhere else. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or just finding your way here, this guide is for you.

As always, our team at The Manning Times is honored to tell the stories that matter. Stories of resilience, growth, tradition, and heart. Clarendon is a true labor of love, and we hope it finds a spot on your coffee table, your welcome center, or your passenger seat—wherever your journey takes you.

Thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in local news. We’ll keep telling your stories, one day at a time.

Warmly,

Melissa Foust-McCoy
