Laurence Manning officially opened their new playground on Tuesday. The playground features all new equipment, sidewalks, and a basketball court. Funds for the project were raised by the raffling off of a John Deere XUV. The raffle, along with alumni donation, raised almost $200,000. Jennifer Jackson, who spearheaded the project, said today that she was so happy to see the new playground to reality and she couldn’t be more excited for the students.
