HopeHealth hosted its seventh annual Golf Classic on Thursday, November 16 at the Wyboo Golf Club in Manning (2565 Players Course Dr., 29102).

Open to all, the one-day tournament was a four-man captain’s choice which began with a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m. Tournament fees were $75 per player and included 18 holes of golf with a cart, a barbecue lunch, and an awards social at the Deercreek Community Center. This year’s Golf Classic was also the first to include an all-female team!

Championship flight winners were HopeHealth CEO Carl Humphries and team members Henry Humphries, Jon Weiss, Sr. and Jon Weiss, Jr. First flight was awarded to Matt Severance, Bob Harrington, Jay Hinesley, and Jason Cox. Second flight winners were Barry Jennings, Michael Tomson, Kenny Wayne Jackson, and Ryan Moyer.

All proceeds from the tournament benefit the HopeHealth Compassionate Care Fund. At times, HopeHealth patients have needs that cannot be met directly by our providers. The Compassionate Care Fund exists to bridge the gap to quality healthcare by contributing to these unmet needs.
