Kingstree native Jay Brown has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Farmers Telephone Cooperative, Inc., the FTC Board announced recently.
The Francis Marion University graduate succeeds Brad Erwin, who has served in that capacity since 2006. He retired on Nov. 30 after 34 years of stellar service and exemplary leadership.
Brown has experience in numerous positions in his nearly 33 years with FTC. His most recent position was as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he served as a District Engineer, a District Manager and the Chief Network Officer.
