Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson, Junior of Manning would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Celia Burgess Wilson , to Hunter Tyson Chestnut, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tyson Chestnut, Junior of Conway.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Mrs. Edward Guy Gibbons, and the late Mr. Edward Guy Gibbons , and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson, all of Manning. Miss Wilson is a graduate of The College of Charleston where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Columbia College. She is currently employed by Southern Lakes Therapy in Manning.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Waylon Arnold Johnson, of Aynor, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tyson Chestnut, of Conway. Mr. Chestnut is a graduate of Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. He also received a Master’s degree in Nursing from Francis Marion University. He is employed by Loris McLeod Hospital.
The wedding is planned for October 23, 2021 at New Harmony Presbyterian Church in Alcolu, South Carolina.
