Clarendon County School District has announced a new partnership with Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) that will offer full tuition scholarships to Clarendon County high school graduates beginning with the Class of 2025.
The “Partnership for Student Success” initiative will cover tuition, technology, and lab fees for up to six consecutive semesters at CCTC for eligible students graduating between 2025 and 2029.
“This partnership provides our students an incredible opportunity to pursue higher education cost-free and opens new doors for their future,” the district said in a social media statement.
To qualify, students must graduate from a Clarendon County high school with an academic diploma and a minimum GPA of 2.0. They must also enroll at CCTC no later than the fall semester immediately following graduation and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.
The scholarship will apply after federal, state, or other grant funds are considered. Students are responsible for other costs not covered, such as books and supplies.
District officials are encouraging students and families to take advantage of what they call a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
For more information, students are advised to contact their school counselors.
