The Clarendon County School District has announced leadership updates for the 2025–2026 school year, welcoming new and continuing administrators at Manning High School and Walker Gamble Elementary.
Susan D. Proctor will serve as the new Assistant Principal at Manning High School. In a social media post, the district expressed excitement at her arrival, stating, “We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to all the great things we’ll accomplish together. Welcome to the Clarendon family!”
Walker Gamble Elementary will see a change in leadership as Ricky White steps in as Principal. White, who previously worked in school administration, brings “a deep commitment to student success and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment,” according to the district.
Alongside him, Benny Knowlton will continue as Assistant Principal. “Mr. Knowlton’s leadership and dedication will play a vital role in supporting our students and staff,” the district shared in a May 19 announcement.
District officials said they look forward to a year of growth, achievement, and success under the guidance of these school leaders.
