MANNING, SC – The Clarendon Hospital District Board of Trustees, which oversees the management of three local nursing homes under the Southern Senior Living brand, wishes to praise the outstanding leadership of its Chief Executive Officer, Matt Stanley.
On the occasion of Mr. Stanley’s annual review, Board Chairman Mr. Jim Aycock commended Mr. Stanley for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence, stating, “Under Matt’s leadership, Southern Senior Living has continued to grow and uphold the highest standards in senior care. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in our success.”
The Clarendon Hospital District Board of Trustees remains a strong and well-organized governing body committed to a common mission –offering exceptional and compassionate senior care in a modern and welcoming physical environment. “Our board is a dynamic group from all walks of life and business, all sharing a vision of advancing senior care within our community,” said Mr. Stanley.
Looking to the future, the Board is excited to announce preliminary plans for the construction of a proposed 32-bed Assisted Living Facility on the campus of Southern Senior Living’s headquarters on Sumter Highway in Manning, SC. This expansion aligns with the organization’s mission to provide comprehensive senior care options to the community.
Southern Senior Living currently operates three skilled nursing facilities: Lake Marion Health and Rehab in Summerton, SC, Lake Moultrie Health and Rehab in St. Stephen, SC, and Pocotaligo River Health and Rehab in Manning, SC, which opened in January 2022.
