SHOPLIFTING
On November 11, 2024, an officer with the Manning Police Department responded to the 2000th block of Paxville Highway in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The officer spoke with the complainant by phone and they stated that while exiting the store, he observed a white female wearing a white shirt and grey pants with a white male wearing a bright yellow shirt and khaki shorts unloading unbagged items into a Jeep.

The complainant advised them that they dropped some of their items and when he stopped to tell them, the female replied they weren’t worried about those items. The complainant said he inquired as to if they paid for the items and was told he needed to stop asking questions as the receipt was in their bag.

Also in the cart was what appeared to be auto detailing supplies. The female and juvenile were seen exiting the general merchandise doors at approximately 1800 hours without paying for the items. The subjects left the scene in a white Jeep with New Jersey tags. The tags came back to EAN Holdings.

Estimated value of the stolen items is $2500.
