South Carolina Department of Education Hosts Vaccination Event on June 12, 2021
WHAT: According to SCDHEC’s Statewide Immunization Online Network (SIMON), 37.3% of eligible Clarendon County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, in comparison to 60.1% nationally.
In an effort to support local school districts, encourage vaccinations and provide information and resources to Clarendon County residents, the South Carolina Department of Education has launched a vaccination education initiative, Take Your Shot.
Adults 18+ will be able to receive the Moderna vaccine and attendees will be provided lunch (while supplies last) as well as entered to win a new TV.
