The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce is calling on volunteers to help make the 44th Annual Striped Bass Festival the best one yet. With the county’s largest festival just around the corner, organizers are seeking individuals and organizations to assist with a variety of tasks, from greeting sponsors to selling t-shirts and supporting vendors.
A volunteer meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, at the Clarendon Chamber office, located at 19 N. Brooks St. in Manning. The one-hour session, set for 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., will provide information on how to get involved in the upcoming festival.
“Every helping hand makes a difference,” the Chamber stated in a social media post. “Join us for our next meeting and bring a friend—or just give the Chamber a call to learn how you can help.”
The Striped Bass Festival, a long-standing tradition in Clarendon County, celebrates the local community with a lineup of family-friendly activities, food vendors, and entertainment. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the event runs smoothly.
