For the second time in three months, Central Carolina Technical College has been recognized for marketing efforts on a national level.

After receiving awards from the Educational Digital Marketing Awards earlier this year, CCTC has been recognized again in six categories in the 36th Annual Educational Advertising Awards.

CCTC was awarded four gold awards in the following categories:
•Outdoor category
•COVID Response Materials category
•Online Display Ad
•Total Fundraising/Development Campaign category

Two silver awards were also received in the Annual Report and Digital Video Ad - Less than Two Minutes categories.

CCTC was one of 313 insitutions nationwide to receive a gold award, and one of 170 institutions to receive a silver award. Central Carolina competed against other schools in the Southeast such as Vanderbilt University, Auburn University and Clemson University.

"These awards, and others like them, are important, not just for acknowledging the professional and creative work being done by CCTC Institutional Advancement and External Relations staff, but also as an indication of the excellence we seek to provide students in all that we do - in every experience," said Misty Hatfield, executive director of Institutional Advancement and External Relations.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country, and this year there were over 2,000 entries submitted. Judges for this year's competition were compiled from a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors and marketing and advertising professionals.
