On October 9th, 2021, Clarendon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of gunshots heard and a possible shooting incident near Westwood Apartments on Westwood Drive and Hwy 261 in the Manning area. Units arrived on scene and began speaking with several different witnesses who had all heard multiple gunshots in the area. While on scene, deputies received an additional call of service at an apartment which had been hit multiple times by gunfire. Deputies and an Investigator responded to the scene. Numerous people were inside the apartment. There were no injuries. The following individuals have been arrested at this time and charged with one count of Assault and Battery High and Aggravated and one count of Conspiracy each: Hannah Grace Clayton age 20, Savanna Bryann Gooden age 18, Aliyah Kayanna Brunson age 20, Levon Justice Dingle age 21 and a male juvenile subject. This is an ongoing investigation, and more arrests are forthcoming in reference to this case. Anyone having any information is asked to call 803-435-4414 and ask for the Investigative Division.
