CCSO issues press release regarding Nicole Dr. incident in Buckhorn Subdivision

On June 18, 2024, Deputies along with Clarendon County Fire Rescue responded to the Nicole Drive section of the Buck Horn Subdivision in Clarendon County in reference to a call to the Clarendon County Dispatch from a male subject that advised that he had choked his girlfriend and stated that she was not breathing.

Deputies arrived on scene at approximately 2:30am where a male subject answered the door.  This subject was identified as Thomas E. Cramer.  Deputies entered the residence and discovered a female lying on the floor in the master bathroom.  The female appeared to be and was subsequently pronounced deceased by Fire Rescue personnel.

Mr. Cramer was interviewed, and it was determined that Cramer and the deceased had been in a domestic altercation, where Cramer hit and choked the victim causing her death.

Thomas E. Cramer, 61 years of age was arrested for Murder and transported to the Clarendon County Detention Center.

The deceased victim was identified as Robin F. Gano, 58 years of age.

Cramer and Gano both resided at the Nicole Dr. residence.
