On April 5, 2020 at approximately 5:23 p.m., Deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office responded along with Clarendon County EMS and Clarendon County Fire Department First Responders to a shooting incident at 2402 Raccoon Road in the Manning area. Upon arriving on the scene responding units found the victim, 23-year-old Dashell Davonne-Dilique Powell, deceased with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim’s body was discovered at his home by a family member. The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office contacted S.L.E.D. forensics to assist with processing the crime scene.
