The varsity girls basketball team of Laurence Manning Academy traveled to Lake City last night to play the Bobcats of Carolina Academy. The two teams have already met once in the Barron Classic and the Swampcats were victorious.
Last night would prove to be no different. The Swampcats won 45-36 to move to 5-2 on the season. Breanna Boykin went for 20 points on the night while teammate Audrey Bennett added 7 of her own.
Carolina Academy was lead by Lara Aburaba who scored a team high 11 points.
LMA will play their next game on January 3rd at Oakbrook Prep.
