Bobby Gene Tucker, 84, widower of Deborah Lee Tucker, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence.
Born September 25, 1938, in Barnwell, he was a son of the late Edward Tucker and the late Myrtis Carroll Tucker. He was an avid golfer and South Carolina Gamecock fan. He was a member of Manning United
Methodist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Gena T. Rice (George) of Columbia; a son, Gregory Tucker (Carol) of Lexington; three step children, Erica Eaddy (Mac); Casey Spencer (Teddy) and Jay Morris all of Manning; six grandchildren, Andrew Rice (Marisa Bush), Christopher Rice (Alison), Eva Eaddy, Adelaide Eaddy, Mary Frances Eaddy and Frank Eaddy; one great grandson, Marshall Rice; a twin sister, Betty Tucker McCarty of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and two beloved dogs, Bella and Teddy Bear.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Tucker and a brother-in- law, Mac McCarty.
Services were private.
The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at the home of Erica and
Mac Eaddy, 4141 Bloomville Road, Manning.
The family would like to thank Dana Sprott, Agape Care Hospice and Elite Care for their love and care they showed Mr. Bob.
