Black River Missionary Baptist Association to host 22nd Annual Educational Scholarship Banquet Oct. 25

The Black River Missionary Baptist Association will host its 22nd Annual Educational Scholarship Banquet at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Manning Junior High School, 1101 W. L. Hamilton Road in Manning.

The keynote speaker for this year’s banquet will be Rev. Sam Livingston Sr., pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and moderator of the Sumter Baptist M & E Association.

Moderator Rev. Ranzy McFadden Jr. and Deaconess Eva R. Gaters, scholarship chairlady, invite the community to attend the in-person event, which continues the Association’s long-standing commitment to supporting higher education through scholarships and ministry giving.

Ticket and Donation Information

Individual tickets are $30, and table seating for eight is available for a $200 donation from well-wishers. To reserve seating or request more information, call (803) 485-8155.

Organizers say that no amount is too small to help further the Association’s scholarship efforts.

The annual banquet remains a cornerstone event for the Black River Missionary Baptist Association, celebrating faith, education, and community leadership throughout Clarendon County and the surrounding region.
