A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Manning remains unclaimed, and the winner has only days left to collect the prize.
The South Carolina Education Lottery is urging players to check tickets purchased in April at Corner Pantry #148, 488 W. Boyce St. The winning ticket was purchased for the April 13 Powerball drawing and must be claimed by Saturday, Oct. 10.
The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number to win $50,000. The winning numbers were 38, 43, 59, 63 and 64, with Powerball 15.
Because the final claim date falls on a Saturday, the ticket must be presented at the lottery’s Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9. Winners may also claim the prize by mail, but the envelope must be postmarked no later than Saturday, Oct. 10.
South Carolina Education Lottery players have 180 days from the date of a drawing to claim prizes.
If no one claims the Manning ticket by the deadline, the $50,000 prize will be deposited into the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
The lottery encourages anyone who purchased a Powerball ticket at the Manning store for the April 13 drawing to check their tickets before the deadline.
