Clarendon County Deputy safe after ordeal

Posted
While Clarendon County Sheriff's deputies participated in the multi-county Operation Ice Storm, a Clarendon County deputy was dragged by a car when the driver refused to exit his vehicle. The deputy sustained abrasions and bruises on his hands and knees, along with a broken hand, and he hit his head as he was released from the car. The deputy returned to duty the following day after ensuring he did not have a concussion. For more on this story, see the March 21 edition of The Manning Times.
