Manning High School Symphonic Band

Thursday March 7th, 2019 Mr. Jefferson and the Manning High School Symphonic Band traveled to Hartsville, SC to participate in the Coker College Pre-Festival Band Workshop at Coker College.

While on campus, the MHS Symphonic Band to performed their South Carolina Concert Performance Assessment selections on the stage at the Coker Performing Arts Center and receive comments from two experienced band directors.  After their performance the band had a work session with Coker Band Director, Mrs. Kelly Jokisch and former Clark Atlanta University Band Director, Mrs. Tomisha Brock.  The Manning High School Symphonic Band’s performance selections include John Phillip Sousa “Hands across the Sea”, Jacob de Haan’s “Ammerland”, and Richard Saucedo’s “Into the Clouds”.
