David Dwayne Womack, 28, of Olanta, was arrested on February 14, 2019, on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree (§16-15-410).

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest. The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), both members of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, assisted ICAC Task Force investigators with the Attorney General's Office to make the arrest.

Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led them to Womack. According to investigators, Womack possessed multiple files of child pornography.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office. Should Womack be found guilty of these felony charges, he will face up to 10 years imprisonment for each count.
