Kathy Owen Gatlin and George Ward Gatlin of Manning announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Kathryn Gatlin of Manning, to Ryan Andrew Hulme of Sumter, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Allan Thompson of Sumter and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Andrew Hulme of Atlanta, Georgia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and is employed with Nicole Norris Design Studio in Sumter. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Arthur Gatlin of Conway and Dr. and Mrs. James Clarence Owen of Florence.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Clemson University, and is employed with Thompson Construction Group of Sumter. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dixon Harold Gahnz of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mahew Rabon of Sumter and the late Mr. James E. Thompson of Sumter and the late Dr. and Mrs. Andrew Wilbur Hulme of Wisonsin Rapids.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 15, 2016, at Manning First Baptist Church, with a reception to follow at 30 W. Main St. in Sumter.
