TAMPA, Florida - Vashti "Sister" Nelson died Monday, June 27, 2015, in Tampa.
Born May 30, 1933, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Brooks and Pansy Harvin Nelson.
Services of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church, 7827 Paxville Highway in Manning, where the Rev. Dr. Lucious Dixon, pastor, will bring words of hope.
Burial will follow in the family plot at Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1220 Sister Road in Paxville.
