New Zion native Drue Floyd is now in her second month as Miss Clarendon 2016.

Floyd says her "biggest role model" is East Clarendon Middle-High School special education teacher Stacey Fitts.
"She is truly a blessing," said Floyd. "Her patience and love for her students humbles me. I can only wish to be half of the woman she is."
