NEW ZION - Johnnie Ladson Smith Jr., 68, husband of Betty McFadden Smith, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born Oct. 26, 1947, he was a son of the late Johnnie Ladson Smith Sr. and Sallie Lowery Smith.
Celebratory services for Johnnie Ladson Smith Jr. will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at Friendship Presbyterian Church in New Zion. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home, 10932 Black River Road in New Zion.
