Parts of I-95 in Clarendon now open, 119-132 still closed

The state Department of Transportation has declared certain parts of Interstate 95 in Clarendon County open for locals only after the highway has been closed for nearly three days due to catastrophic rains. Southbound and northbound lanes from the 119 milemarker and lower numbers (118, 117, etc.) are now open. Anyone traveling northbound will have to exit at the 119 interchange to leave the Interstate. You will also need to show ID to show you're local. Likewise north and southbound lanes from milemarker 132 and higher numbers (133, 134, 135, etc.) are reportedly open. Again, someone traveling southbound on the interstate would have to leave before the 132 mile-marker. To repeat, Interstate 95 is NOT FULLY OPEN. No one may travel without permission from the 119 mile marker to the 132 mile marker in either direction. DOT has no estimate for when that stretch will be open. It is still underwater and several bridges will have to be inspected first.
